Exhibitions for 2016

We are delighted to share our exhibition line-up for 2016 with you! Featuring a wide variety themes in the work of our artists the exhibitions promise to be enriching, interesting and thought-provoking. The opening evening will always coincide with First Thursdays in Cape Town, a monthly event in which the majority of the central city's galleries stay open until 9pm.  



7 - 23 April 2016  

ORGANISM / A solo exhibition by Janet Botes  

Exploring nature through the looking glass of biological observation and the spiritual connection between human-animal-environment.  



5  - 21 May 2016  

WALKING ON WATER / A solo exhibition by Zaan Claassens

Zaan Claassens’ latest body of oil paintings examines water surfaces, reflected light and the ephemeral nature of her subject matter. Her beautifully crafted bronze sculptures add their magic.




2  - 18 June 2016  

BENEATH THE SKIN / A Group Exhibition of work by Claude Chandler, Corné Eksteen, Damien Schumann, Gary Frier, Kendall-Leigh Nash, Louisa Betteridge, and Ntobeko Mjijwa 

An exhibition of art that looks at identity and self, and explore the ways we are different from each other, but at the same time share similarities.  



7  - 23 July 2016  

Scapes: Rhythms of an environment / A Group Exhibition of work by Catherine Ocholla,  James de Villiers, Joanne Reen, Karen Wykerd, and Laurel Holmes 

A scape - whether it be a landscape, cityscape, waterscape or skyscape, is built up of colours, moments, expanses, materials, rhythms, sounds, and other qualities that defines the space(s).

6 - 22 October  

Life.body.time  / Group exhibition: Bettie Coetzee-Lambrecht, Chris Denovan, Janna Prinsloo, Jodi Hugo, Michaela Rinaldi.
