    Originally I would've titled this artwork 'Outeniqua mountains', but it has become an amalgamation of other mountains too that stand tall above places I've called home - including the Helderberg mountain. Since 2009 I've lived next to large mountain ranges, and with a love of hiking I have an affinity for the mountains of our beautiful country - including the Langeberg, Hottentots-Holland mountains, Jonkershoek and, of course, the Cederberg that feature in some of my other artworks.
