'Cascade' is a mixed media work of drawing, painting and collage texture added to an archival monoprint of Witpoortjie Waterfall. This artwork was initially inspired by the Witpoortjie waterfall in the Walter Sisulu botanical garden in Johannesburg, a 70m natural waterfall, but are also created by using photographs of the waterfalls in Turkey within the canyon at Saklikent in the Antalya province. To me a waterfall is one of the best symbols or expressions of power and beauty in nature.
