Studio visit with Thelma van Rensburg

We joined Thelma on her Kewpi doll upholstered sofa for a glass of red wine and to get a glimpse into her studio and work in progress.

If you couldn't be an artist, what would you do? 
Teach, Art Therapy.

What do you collect?
Dolls and figurines, South-African art, Art books, Handmade animals, hats, shoes, jewelery and containers.


What was the best advice given to you as an artist?
Just keep going. Never give up.
