"This is one of my favourite spots to stand in Silvermine Nature Reserve. Mountain bikers ride past frequently, and cyclists often remark about the beauty we are so privileged to enjoy. I had just spent some hours on the view of Muizenberg Peak, and I knew I didn't want to go somewhere new. The weather was too perfect and the Fynbos too beautiful. So I simply moved my easel a little further back, turned a little to the left, and started this canvas."
