Paper size: 120 x 90 cm
Printed image size: 100cm x 75cm
Inspired by the rock formations of the Cederberg and the flora of the Langeberg area, specifically in the area of Riversonderend and Swellendam.
Created by layering photographs from the Langeberg and Cederberg area with scanned-in drawings and sketches inspired by the foliage and rocks of various ecosystems in South Africa which I've visited and hiked in. This combination of hand-made and digital media is symbolic of the best solutions for all our needs in the modern world - where technology and nature work together, or where we use human creativity and craft along with technology, that's where magic can happen.
