Full title: Sunset at Silvermine Looking Towards Constantiaberg
"I just couldn't get enough of Silvermine on this day. After painting two paintings earlier in the day, I drove up the hill towards the dam and saw the soft light on the mountains and the almost imperceptible shadows in light purples, and knew I had to capture this beauty. It always amazes me how light the distant mountains are, and how subtle the difference between shadow and light... I feel like our Cape mountains have their own very specific light and shadow colours, and it is my endless joy to capture them!"
