Artist Description
Story telling has been an important part of my life since early childhood, an activity that I will always be grateful for. Some of my fondest childhood memories are of my mother reading us the most wonderful books before we went to sleep.
In the last few years the tradition of storytelling has started to creep into my work making the dialog between objects as important as the objects themselves. The imagination and the ability to create an internal world of fantasy is one of humanity's most wonderful abilities. As an artist, I search for ways of hinting at such a world.
Although “The dapper duck with an award-winning vision” may seem superficial in content, it holds great emotional ties to my past and the person I am today. As an artist, I am forever searching for the elusive perfect image that is authentic to the person I am.
