Artist Notes:
Diptych size 29.7 x 42 cm each

As time moves forward in all sorts of paces, and our connection to each other as a planetary family comes and goes, this drawing reflects on the connections we will forever have with each other on this earth. At times we forget, but the connection will forever be there. The lines you see are these constant reminders that we are connected to each other in some way. It may not be as intertwined as some are, but one is always reminded about the deeper connection we have with each other. To me, this connection speaks to the connection we have with the planet as well. As each line can represent ourselves, they may also represent the layers of a tree, fingerprints or wave patterns. The meditative process of drawing brings one into the present and one becomes aware of why we are so connected to each other and our surroundings.
